Paul Johnston | Founder/Co-owner
Paul Johnston started his roofing career a young age, establishing his first roofing company “Johnston and Copeland Roofing LTD” in downtown Toronto in the 80’s. Working on century homes throughout the west end, specifically the neighbourhood of High Park. After running his business in Toronto for years, he became a family man and moved to the Old Allandale neighbourhood of Barrie Ontario where he established Best Quality Roofing and Renovations in 1993. He grew the business to 1000+ satisfied customers in and around Simcoe county. Re-roofing some iconic buildings such as The MacLaren Art Centre in downtown Barrie, 4 Checkley Street in Barrie in 2015, and a building at The Ridge at Manitou in Parry Sound in 2014. Paul has established himself and his company as one of the best, most reliable small roofing businesses in the region. Continuing to offer quality workmanship at a fair price for over 25 years.
Cameron Johnston | Co-owner
Cameron started labouring on Best Quality Roofing job sites out of high school at 18 years old. Where he learned how to shingle under the wing of his father, Paul Johnston. At 20 years old, he moved to downtown Toronto where he honed his shingling and metal skills on every roof type imaginable. At the young age of 24, he took on a foreman position and began running crews downtown Toronto. Moving back to Barrie in the winter of 2020 to re-join the family business with his father, the second generation of Best Quality Roofing and Renovations begins in Simcoe County.
